Hi folks

On [date], we will be having a cycling event in Macclesfield in the morning – starts at 9am but people will be arriving from about 8am.

We will be stationed at the oval and hall up on Kingrose Street so riders will be parking there to not cluttering up parking space outside of the CFS.

The race starts in Davenport Square then up Stamps Rd, across to Flaxley, and down the hill back to Davenport Squ.

Regards

Finish Marshals

Finish Marshals have been allowed for on the course signage map.

These only apply if the Committee elects to stop traffic at the finish line. Unless the Committee advised otherwise, always assume that traffic will not be stopped and finish marshals will not be needed.

Start Marshal

A Start Marshal has been allowed for but is normally not needed.

The Event Starter normally sets riders off at the designated start time but calls ‘clear’ if no traffic is approaching from behind.
