Hi all

Keep those noms rolling in for the Oakwood Rd Kermesse this Sunday!

Entries close tomorrow – Thursday 3 June, 9pm, so jump on in to have your name on the list 😊

 

And oh, an update on the forecast. It’s looking even better!

Chance of rain has been pushed to ‘most likely in the evening’.

Best to get out on Sunday at the race though as it looks like you’ll need a wet suit and snorkel if you try riding on Monday or Tuesday next week!

BECOME A TRAFFIC MARSHAL VOLUNTEER!

Hi everyone

We can run regular, affordable road races throughout the year because of…. Our Fabulous Volunteers!

Become one of our SAPOL accredited traffic marshals!

The next session is after the race on 6 June (Oakwood Rd Kermesse, Balhannah). Only takes about 40 minutes. There are no tests or exams – you listen, learn, ask questions, and get you card-of-power.

So come along!

AHCC First-Aid Volunteer Program

AHCC Volunteer First-Aid Program

We are delighted to announce Beyond Bank’s sponsorship our First-Aid Volunteer Program.
Our First-Aid volunteers are vital to running events and, with the support of Beyond Bank, we can fund First Aid accreditation and accreditation renewal for our volunteers.
 
Don’t have First Aid accreditation? Why not do the one-day course, get the certificate, and the club will cover the cost.
Had it but has lapsed? No problem – we’ll cover the renewal cost.
 
To help the club further, who do you know who can help out? Friends? family members?: anyone who is a practicing medical professional (doctors, nurses and the like), or is happy to get First Aid accreditation and come along once in a while to support the club.
Let us know and we’ll get in touch.
 
Being a First-Aid volunteer is not hard. We rarely (and hope to never) have accidents so most of the time it’s a chance to enjoy watching the race.
