USG MOTHER’S DAY INVITATION

Hi all
Come along to our USG Mother’s Day Invitation!
Check out the attached flyer.
It’s a great course – some downhill, some long flat bits, and a bit of a climb to finish off.
We’ve organised it so you can come and have a great race then be home in time for all the Mother’s Day stuff.
Spread the word.
Noms here: https://www.adelaidehillscc.org.au/events/ (you can also see the course map on the noms link)

Many thanks to USG for their sponsorship and support.

Harrogate event 15 April

Hi everyone

Our next club event is Sunday 15 April! Come along!

It’s a great course through the hills starting at Nairne Oval.
Graded scratch race.

Race day desk opens at 8am. Racing from 9am.

Here’s the course map and distances: https://www.adelaidehillscc.org.au/course_maps/harrogate_ver2.pdf

Online registrations on this site (under the ‘Calendar’ menu tab).

All you need to ride is:
• To be a member of our club with a AVCC issued racing licence.
• If not a member, just having an AVCC licence – we don’t bother with the ‘associate member’ thing.
• If new to this and no licence to race, you can do a trial ride! Just register as normal (link above) and note you are doing the ‘trial’ thing when you do your on-line registration.

Bring yourself and bring some friends 🙂

Member survey results

Thanks to everyone who provided feedback to our member survey. The response rate was great and the comments very helpful.

We’ll be working through the findings as part of our planning: knowing what our members think of the club and our events will really help the Committee.

A copy of the full survey results is attached here:  AHMCC MEMBER SURVEY 2018 RESULTS

We’d love to hear any further thoughts or suggestions you might have. Just drop us a note (email to Sarah and Don at president@ahmcc.org.au ) or post a comment on the Facebook conversation string here: https://www.facebook.com/groups/459353041147103/ .

A couple of quick points:
• The feedback suggests we are doing a lot of things right – really encouraging to hear this.
• The club is seen as friendly and welcoming. We had a lot of comments along this line. This is great to hear!
• The main ‘where to improve’ area that is evident in the feedback is to try and great bigger fields. We’ll keep working on this and some initiatives have been put in place. For example, we have a 3-race series that Southern Vets support, and Southern Vets also has a 3-race series that we support, so there are 6 events that are done cooperatively between our two clubs. The calendar of events also has a good spread of other Open and Invitation events that all 3 SA clubs are part of. We have also done away with the need for Associate Memberships to remove what we see as a needless barrier to participation in our club events, plus we are doing more event promotion through Facebook, Strava, and emails to members. More thought will go in to this though.

Thanks again for your feedback. It’s really appreciated and valued.
