SOME NEWS ABOUT OUR CLUB EVENTS

Hi everyone

After a proposal from one of our members at the AGM, and great feedback from members at our race last weekend, we’ll be reducing the entry fee for our regular club events to just $10!

Instead of paying prize money for these events, we’ll instead hand out some goodies to the first 3 place getters in each grade. This could be things like tubes, energy bard, gels, wine, vouchers – a real mix of things available for you.

It’s a great outcome as it saves our members money, saves the club money, makes the admin of races easier for our volunteers, and keeps us focused on why we race – for the glory, friendship, and darn fun of it all.

For the ‘All Clubs’ events (previously called ‘opens’), and ‘invitations’, the $15 entry plus prize money will continue so no change there.

For our Club Championship series (a new 3-event series), entry fees will be about the same as in the past plus, thanks to Paul King’s continued generous sponsorship – https://www.paulkingplumbing.com.au/ – prize money for overall championship winners.

Thanks again to everyone for your input on this – it’s been great and we appreciate your help in keeping things moving forward at our club.

One last thing: if you have access to some items we can provide as hand-outs (maybe wine, coffee-shop vouchers, ‘bike things’), can you drop us a note?

Questions? Just let us know:
