INFORMATION FOR TOG DIVISIONS 2 AND 3
Hi to all riders in Div 2 and 3.
Just to keep you on your toes we have reconsidered the way we are going split Divisions 2 and 3 after the Team Time Trial.
The original plan was to simply split the fields in half based upon the Stage 1 team time with the top half going into one division and the other half a separate competition.
The change to the original plan is that the field will now be shuffled rather than split, so that after the stage 1 team time trial Divisions 2 and 3 will split based upon odds and evens placings
For example:
1,3,5,7,9,11th in to group 1
and
2,4,6,8,10 in to group 2
This means that both sides of the split will still compete as a separate competition (as previously). However, now teams in both split groups will be eligible for 1st place team medals in their group and for consideration in Tour Of Goolwa overall team champions competition.
